Taken from their first six song EP, ‘Remembrance Day’ by David Nyro and the History of the Light is a compelling, heartfelt call to arms for music fans to support a good cause. Written the day after the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013, it was created in memory of those who have fallen victim to such violence over the years. Available now on Bandcamp, supporters can name their own price to download the song, with proceeds going to the charities listed below.*

Later this year, the band head back into the studio to record their second EP, at the world-famous Robert Lang Studios which has in previous years played host to Macklemore, Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and more. Before that though, you can expect an August re-release of ‘Remembrance Day’, remixed with full instrumentation thanks to Ryan Matthews of Coded Sounds.

An exciting year for David Nyro and the History of the Light!
