This years Association of Independent Music (AIM) awards nominations have been announced, with three piece London Grammar heading the list of acts with four in total – best album, best indie breakthrough, best live act and track of the year for single ‘Strong’.

Six other acts also have a number of nods, including Arctic Monkeys, Bonobo and FKA Twigs, with the gongs being handed out on 2nd September.

The AIMs are in place to recognise the contribution to the music industry of those outside the major labels, and are growing in stature year on year.
