ISLAND have unveiled their new single ‘Ride’, alongside a brand new set of UK and European tour dates for the spring that will see them play a London headline show at KOKO on 23rd May.

The new live dates follow a recent show-stopping headline tour and blistering festival sets across Europe including The Great Escape and a career highlight headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. The upcoming tour will mark a meteoric twelve months for the quartet who have toured relentlessly with their fearsomely tight and effervescently energetic sets.

The tour precedes ISLAND’s eagerly anticipated performance at Annie Mac’s AMP event on 22nd February 2018 alongside Tom Misch and Tom Tripp.

‘Ride’ taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Feels Like Air continues the band’s unstoppable run of successes, including recent single ‘The Day I Die’, which caused a stir late last year amassing over 226k Spotify streams. Led by an emotive, 80s-influenced guitar riff and the impassioned, profund vocal stylings of enigmatic frontman Rollo Doherty, the latest single epitomises the simultaneously nostalgic and refreshing sound the band’s devoted followers have grown to love.

Having spent 2017 firmly establishing themselves as ones-to-catch on the live circuit and festival tents, their captivatingly intense live shows have truly built them a reputation as one of London’s exciting bands. With over a total of 9 million Spotify streams and four sell out dates at renowned London venues The Victoria, Oslo, Scala and Heaven – all this achieved while unsigned and maintaining a DIY ethic – which have gained them fans from the likes of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Annie Mac and 6Music.

Now with the help of New York label Frenchkiss (Passion Pit, Diet Cig), Rollo Doherty (lead vocals), Jack Raeder (Guitarist), James Wolfe (Bassist) and Toby Richards (Drummer) are gearing up to release their hotly anticipated debut album, Feels Like Air.
