A new Queen album, featuring previously unreleased songs sung by Freddie Mercury, is in the works for an end of year release, according to Brian May. The ‘Queen Forever’ album will feature the new tracks, originally recorded in the 1980s, plus a collection of established hits.

Admitting they started out with only “scraps”, modern technology has allowed the surviving band members to recreate their classic sound.

In addition, May has also revealed plans for a “naughtier” sequel to ‘We Will Rock You’, the Ben Elton penned Queen musical that is soon to close its doors after a 12 year West End run.
