Chic front-man Nile Rodgers has been in the studio producing songs that feature the late George Michael.

Michael passed away in December, 2016, but after the tragic death of the Wham! singer, Rodgers revealed they had been working together mixing tracks ready for the singers ‘comeback’.

On Monday, July 10th, Rodgers stated on Twitter that the work had continued after the singer passed away. He posted a picture in the studio with the caption “#georgemichael vocals are so hot the faders burned our hands.”

Eager fans asked if Rodgers knew when the new tracks would be released, he replied “I don’t control that. I just make the music. But I love it and he sounds unreal.”
