Foo Fighters’ eagerly awaited new album, as yet untitled, is scheduled to be released in November. Their first LP since 2011, the recording process took the rock back to a different city to record every song, bringing in local musicians for each song to give each a different flavour. The approach is also reflected in the lyrics, not written until the last day of each city stint in order that the song could capture the experience of recording there.

The unusual process was captured on film for HBO documentary series ‘Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways’, which will broadcast around the release date.
