The Desert have unveiled a new video for their latest single Half Hearted. The video was shot in and around their hometown of Bristol.

The final single to be lifted from their debut EP ‘Playing Dead’, Half Hearted’s shimmering vocals and detailed production is already gaining support from the likes of BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio.

A collaboration between singer-songwriter Gina Leonard and guitarist & producer Tom Fryer, The Desert were introduced to the world earlier this year with the single Just Get High. Described by Earmilk as a “beautifully written song”, their debut picked up plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X. Recent single Soulmates won them further plaudits, with Noctics Magazine lauding the “detailed production that leaves something which is both intimate and reflective.”

Speaking about the new single Half Hearted Tom explains how, “this probably represents our most sophisticated achievement to date. The way that it moves between sections, the drum sound and the final epic synthesiser section make it my favourite on the EP.
