Truck Festival was celebrating its 20th anniversary in Oxfordshire this weekend, however not everyone was enjoying the celebrations.
Around 30 people attending the festival have reported thefts to festival security over the weekend. Harriet Hammond, a Truck Festival goer, told Oxford Mail “It’s a festival, so you try and keep your valuables on us and you don’t leave them in your tent, but we came back to sleep in our tent and have woken up to find someone has opened our tent door and gone through our bags and stolen money from my purse.”
She continued by saying “They also gone through jacket pockets. We are quite careful campers. They came through while we slept in the tent which is actually terrible.”
Others have shared their experiences on Twitter about phones being stolen and the poor organisation of the event. Some unhappy campers even said they won’t be returning.

the whole site was so unorganised and you didn't know where anything was, the tents were too small for the amount of people there was,
