Nine previously unheard Roy Orbison songs are set to be added to the 25th Anniversary edition of his final album ‘Mystery Girl’, due out in May.

The songs, including ‘The Way Is Love’ which was literally pieced together from cassette demos, are said to have originally been written for the album but remained undeveloped until now – with some finishing touches added by his own sons as well as John Carter Cash (son of Johnny).

Orbison, who was enjoying a career renaissance at the time, died of a heart attack in December 1988, aged 52, two months before the record was originally released.
