Vevo has teamed up with Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid and a clowder of cats to create a striking confessional in which she sings lines from her latest hit ‘High Five’ and talks about her love of nature and what being ‘Raw’ means to her.

Sigrid burst on to the scene with her anthemic debut single ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ in February 2017 and has been the name on everyone’s lips since. The winner of BBC’s prestigious Sound of 2018 award, she has released a string of hits including ‘Plot Twist’, ‘Strangers’ and ‘Raw’, played the biggest festivals around the world including Glastonbury and Coachella and been hotly tipped by the likes of Billboard, i-D, Vogue, Noisey, W Magazine, MTV and The Guardian.

Sigrid has always had an affinity for cats, before she hit the big time she created a song writing project with her sister called Sala Says Mhyp in honour of their family cat Sala. In this Vevo Original video, she also describes how Sala used to sit perched on top of her piano whilst she played it for hours as a child.

Vevo has championed Sigrid from the very beginning of her career. Just as the hype was buliding in May 2017, she delivered a stirring Vevo dscvr performance at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival. And shortly after, she upped the ante with a live dscvr session. Most recently, Vevo announced Sigrid as one of their 20 very special ‘Artists To Watch’ in 2018.
