LIV’n’G are sisters Olivia Crawford and Georgia Fletcher, a duo based in Hartlepool, North East England. Their charity single Smile For Bradley has hit number 4 on the Official UK midweek chart despite the girls having no management or label behind them.
Having already worked along Bradley Lowery’s Fight to support Bradley, a terminally ill six-year old suffering with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, the siblings deciding to record their own version of the Charlie Chaplin song Smile as a way of showing their support.
Vocalist Olivia (16) said she has been ‘overwhelmed’ by the support shown for the single with old sister and keys player Georgia (22) surprised that their home recording has ended up selling over 10,000 in the first couple of days.
Aside from their charity work, LIV’n’G have played sold out shows at the O2 Academy in Newcastle, won talent competition Beyond The Lights and will be opening for Tinie Tempah at Marina Live in Hartlepool on 30th July. Their own original which is set to be released later this year fuses influences including Lauryn Hill, Rhianna and Zara Larsson The song Smile For Bradley is the most trending track in the chart presently according the The OCC.
