An acoustic singer-songwriter with possibly the softest male vocal we’ve ever heard (in a good, delicate kind of way), Josh Healey is currently gearing up for the release of this excellent new EP ‘Lost, Found & Lost Again’. An autobiographical songwriter, these songs cover the period between this release and his last, and each song is a small window into what is an intriguing life view.

The lead track (below) is already making waves on BBC Radio 6 Music with Tom Robinson, but starting with a strong opener is only the first part. The rest of the songs have to back it up, and they do a very good job of that here. One particular highlight is ‘People Like You’. The folkiest of the songs on offer here, it pokes light fun at people who try to live up to expectations and stereotypes in the media, and encourages you to enjoy life as you are rather than striving to be something you’re not. It’s a lovely message, and just one of  five very good songs on offer here.

Listen to ‘Sometimes’ below, and if you like what you hear you can also check out the full EP on Soundcloud before pre-ordering it now!
