One of the most popular characters in the TV series Holby City, the news that Dr Harry Tressler was set to leave the show this month left fans of the show, character and actor somewhat bereft. Having built up something of a following on the series, where would fans of ‘Hot Harry’ get their fix?
Thankfully, the answer comes in the shape of a new classical album, performed by Jules Knight – the man behind Harry Tressler. The LP, ‘Change of Heart’ is out today and sees Knight return to his original career path in music. Having already had hits with male vocal group Blake, the time was right for a return to the industry, and the new album is the result of that decision.
Featuring cover versions and new arrangements of several classic songs, plus a couple of originals in for good measure, the album naturally sees Jules Knight on fine vocal form. Supremely talented, Knight is that rare thing – a classically trained performer who might bring new fans to the style.
Not enough attention is given to ‘classical’ music these days, and if Jules Knight can play a part in opening a few more ears, more power to him.
